About this Event
This parallel event is hosted by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women and in conjunction with CSW67.
We will focus on the intersection of climate justice and technological empowerment with a focus on women in leadership.
A small panel of leading women within these fields will explore innovative interventions in practice that address a more equitable world for all women. Utilizing a global lens combined with community action based approaches, this panel aims to share insight into the progress being made and provide actionable steps we can all take toward the advancement of climate justice.
*the views of the panelists are their own and not of the firms which they represent
The panel will begin with each panelist being given an amount of time to speak to their views on and work within the themes presented in the above abstract, to be followed by a moderated discussion. Time will be left at the end to take a few questions from the audience.
Panelists:
Shruti Nayar (Associate, Sustainable Development Capital)
Mayra Sanchez (Director, Green Girls)
