On 17 November, communities across Australia will take part in the GIANT Climate Fresk - the biggest climate education initiative in the country. And we’re bringing it to Newy!Climate Fresk is a fun and visual workshop that helps make climate science clear and engaging. It’s also:
- evidence-based and grounded in IPCC findings;
- collaborative and accessible;
- designed to build climate literacy and confidence;
- open to everyone, so no prior knowledge needed!
After the Fresk part, we’ll hold a discussion co-facilitated with Jo Lynch from Climate Ready Newcastle, exploring how communities adapt to climate impacts, and how connection and local action help us build resilience.
We’ll be gathering in the beautiful and welcoming space of The Full Circle Collective, so of course we’ll also touch on how circular economy solutions support climate mitigation and stronger communities.
