🚨Please note the different date and location! Our March meeting will be held Thursday, March 6, at the Westmoreland Conservation District’s office. The address is 218 Donohoe Road, Greensburg, PA 15601. We will meet in the restored barn behind the office buildings.
We will have two guest speakers that evening talking about climate change and how it might impact our trout streams and fisheries, particularly in the Laurel Highlands. The presenters will be Laurie Giarratani, Director of Education, for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and Alexis Thorbecke, Public Programs Manager, with Powdermill Nature Reserve. Both have been involved in the research of local impacts of global climate change, and what mitigation efforts we might engage in.
