Climate and Growing Conditions in Upper Midwest - Big River Farms

A farmer’s job is always affected by the weather no matter what the season. In the Upper Midwest we experience all 4 seasons and the extremes that come with all of them.  Increased heat, smoke, drought, and sometimes flooding can have horrible effects on crops. This session will take a look at weather projections for our region and discuss seasonal shifts to be aware of as well as how to prepare yourself and your crops for the ever-changing weather of the region.
