About this Event
To solve the climate crisis, Citizens’ Climate Lobby empowers people to use the tools of democracy to build political will for climate solutions in Congress. This 15-week Climate Advocacy Certificate Program (running from May 7 - August 20, 2024) is for anyone interested in learning and applying CCL’s methods for climate action. Participants who successfully complete the program by August 30, 2024 will receive CCL’s Certificate of Completion, and if they are enrolled at a school in the Spring, can interview to join CCL's Campus Leaders Program to start a climate campaign or CCL chapter at their school. In addition, participants receive information about internships, events, actions, and other opportunities with CCL or partner organizations. Throughout the program, participants will attend at least nine sessions of CCL’s Core Volunteer Trainings (Tuesday evenings at 5pm PT / 8pm ET) or watch the recordings:

Anyone is welcome to join regardless of age or student status. The program takes about two hours a week and academic credit is possible through arrangement with the student's academic institution.
Please register for the program by Friday, May 3 , 2024, 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. You will receive more information and instruction from the program coordinator starting early May. Based on the value that participants get out of the program, we suggest a donation of $25 to offset our costs so we may continue offering this certificate for many more years.
