The purpose of the courses for the attendee to learn what are the policies and procedures regarding Client Rights, consumer abuse, neglect and exploitation.
Learning Objectives
- Understand what is the difference between complaint and grievance.
- Understand policies regarding client rights
- Understand policies regarding service animals.
- Discuss Class I , Class II and Class III abuse.
- Understand what neglect and exploitation is and how to avoid it.
- Discuss appropriate reporting.
- Have full competency of who the client rights officer is and how to contact him/her.
