Details: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Civic Action for Wildlife program (CAW) is a free, immersive program designed for students who are passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats. This program provides young adults with the opportunity to discover the power of their voice and actions, connect with like-minded peers, and hear from guest speakers. Through hands-on activities at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on select Sundays over the course of 10 months, participants will learn how to advocate for conservation, influence policy, and get involved in their community to create a lasting impact.
*The program provides 2 travel opportunities that require participation for an entire weekend, see dates below. These give participants the chance to speak with state and federal representatives. Cost of travel, lodging, and meals is included in the program and will not be the responsibility of the participant.
