Join CCE for a free lunchtime concert. Details here: https://clevelandartsevents.com/event/cleveland-celtic-ensemble-3/The Brownbag concert series began in 1978 in the centuries-old Anglican tradition of providing quality music and arts free-of-charge for residents, students, and workers in the acoustical and architectural splendor of a cathedral. Brownbag concerts are offered every other Wednesday at 12 noon (October–December and February-May). As the name implies, you are welcome to bring lunch into the cathedral while you enjoy the performance.
Born of a desire to marry the best of both Celtic and chamber music in exciting and creative ways, the Cleveland Celtic Ensemble blends Scottish and Irish bagpipes, whistle, flute, fiddle, harp, and dance to create a Celtic style all their own. Revel in blazing bagpipe duets, sublime harp airs, soaring songs, and sweet fiddle tunes — all in an intimate chamber music ensemble setting.
