Get in the holiday spirit by joining us for Clermont’s Annual Lighted Boat Parade on Lake Minneola. Spectators have miles of shoreline on Lake Minneola to watch the boat parade float by. Waterfront Park area on South side of Lake Minneola seems like a great spot. You may see fireworks to let you know the boats are nearing Waterfront Park. Captains and Boaters - Boat ramp is planned to be reopened by then. We will meet either in Lake Hiawatha or on West side of Lake Minneola near Hiawatha Reserve depending on lake levels/bridge clearance. This will happen just at sunset 6ish. Please revisit this event site for updated info as it will change. Bring a toy to the lead boat (look for yellow flashing light) for your boat # to compete for the BEST DECORATED BOAT/Passengers and theme contest. Prizes and sponsors will be announced soon. Since boats will circle clockwise be sure the majority of your lights/decorations are on THE PORT SIDE (that’s the left side of the Captain😂). For boats coming from the south continuing home we can continue at LOW IDLE speed to Minnehaha if majority agree it’s safe for lakefront homes. More info to come soon.
