Join us for an empowering evening with Yvette H. Ayala, conservationist, wildlife advocate and attorney.
Yvette was born and raised in Miami and runs her law firm practicing trademark and business law. Yvette serves on the Executive Council of the Animal Law section of the Florida Bar, she is Chair of the Florida Bar's Wildlife Committee and she is an appointee of the Miami Dade County Commission for Women.
Yvette has always been passionate about saving animals. For years, she rescued hundreds of at risk animals from the local shelter before founding Reclaimed Earth, a non-profit dedicated to the conservation of endangered animals world-wide. Her accomplishments include the establishment of the first elephant orphanage in South Africa and the black hawk helicopter rescue of two rhinos stranded in the Okavango Delta.
Yvette will be interviewed by Tanya Pergola, author, health and wellness coach, and founder of Terrawatu Tanzania. Among other topics, Tanya and Yvette will talk about successfully pursuing your passions and the challenges of pursuing work-life balance as a woman.
The Women Empowement Wednesday in-person speaker series is typically the first Wednesday of each month and features an inspiring speaker, networking opportunities and includes delicious Spanish tapas and wine.
