A Clearwater Classic Returns - sailing into the season on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 6:30 PM!
This dazzling spectacle has become a cornerstone of our city’s festive season, drawing families, boaters, and visitors from across the region to witness a glowing procession of illuminated vessels winding through our waterways. The parade launches just north of the Mandalay Channel Bridge and cruises through Island Estates, past Coachman Park, and along the Memorial Causeway before concluding at the judging area in front of Clearwater Yacht Club. We are also thrilled to welcome back Laura Moody of Fox13 Tampa Bay as Grand Marshal, aboard the stunning 82-foot Monte Fino Yacht, Andiamo!
Boats, Prizes & Holiday Cheer
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a first-time floater, all vessels — individual and commercial — are welcome to join the fun. There’s no registration fee, but boats must register for a number to be eligible for judging and prizes. Our distinguished panel from the City of Clearwater, Amplify Clearwater, and CYC will be on deck to award cash and prizes across multiple categories.

Last year’s milestone 50th parade raised over $13,000 to support youth sailing scholarships at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center, benefiting children from the Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast. This year, we’re aiming even higher — and we need your help to make waves!
