Louis Katz’s comedy deftly combines the highbrow and the lowbrow, creating a truly unique style that has been described as “cerebral filth.”
Throughout his career, Louis’ stand-up has been featured on NBC, HBO, and 5 times on Comedy Central, including his own half-hour special and an appearance on their storytelling show This Is Not Happening, which has since been viewed over 2.9 million times on youtube.
His latest album KATZKILLS was named one of the top 5 comedy albums of the year by vulture.com, who called it “a raucous comedy party.”
Louis’ first one-hour special was released on Epix in 2022 as part of their Unprotected Sets series.
A true comedian’s comedian, Louis’ act has garnered praise from industry legends such as Dave Attell who called him, “one of the best joke writers working today” and Ali Wong who said Louis was, “one of the funniest and most prolific comedians I know.” Marc Maron featured Louis on his WTF podcast saying, “His album and special are hilarious.” But perhaps Doug Stanhope put it best when he said, "Katz is funny to the point that Hitler would have given him a sleeper car on the train."

-Clear Water Comedy and The Plus are absorbing your ticket fees. Buy in advance, and pay no fees!
-Please pay close attention to the show start time. Ticket buyers can enter the dining room whenever they wish- we start checking tickets and allowing customers who are not having dinner into the performance space starting at 8pm. Seating is general admission, which means there are no assigned seats and seats are first come, first serve.
-Online sales close at 6pm the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased at the door following this time. The show is not- we repeat, NOT sold out unless there is a separate announcement stating so..
-The Plus is a full service restaurant. Drinks and food are available and can be ordered before or during the performance.
-All advance tickets are will-call, print at home, or e-ticket. No physical tickets will be printed or provided. A list will be present at the door to assure your entry when you buy in advance.
-no recording or video is allowed during the performance.
-Clear Water Comedy and The Plus reserve the right to remove or deny service to anyone who engages in disrespectful, unruly, or disruptive behavior. No talking, heckling, texting, or recording is permitted during the performance. If this takes place, you may be required to leave the show. No refunds will be provided in this event.
