In need of a Spring clear out? Now is the perfect time to declutter your homes. That's why we're holding another charity 'clear the clutter' drop off event on Monday 29th April at Cheddle Lodge in Cheadle or Granville House in Heaton Moor to raise money for our services.If you have unwanted clothes, shoes, household linen and soft toys lying around please consider donating these to us.
As we approach nearly 40 years in Cheadle Lodge and 70 years of our charity, please help us to continue to support people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilled and independent lives.
Please bring your bagged donations over to our residential care home: Cheddle Lodge, 18 Ashfield Road, Cheadle, between 8am and 4pm on Monday 29th April. Recycled and biodegradable bags will be available from the entrance.
We accept the following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE*:
Men’s, Ladies’ and Children’s clothing
Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
Handbags
Hats
Bags
Scarves and ties
Jewellery
Lingerie
Socks
Belts
Soft toys
Household linen
Household curtains
Household towels
Household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers).
We DO NOT accept:
Duvets and blankets
Pillows and cushions
Carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)
Soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing
School uniforms with and without logo
Corporate clothing and workwear
Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material.
