Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for our special "Cleaning for a Cause" event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This impactful community cleanup will take place on October 22, 2024, from 9 AM to 11 AM at Al Lopez Park.
We encourage all volunteers to wear pink to show support for breast cancer awareness while making a difference in our environment. By removing litter and debris, you’re not only beautifying the park but also contributing to the health of our ecosystem—helping to reduce pollutants that may be linked to ailments like cancer.
Volunteer Information:
- Date & Time: October 22, 2024, 9 AM - 11 AM
- Location: Al Lopez Park, Tampa, FL
- What to Wear: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Don't forget to wear **pink**!
- What to Bring:We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. Please apply sunscreen and bug spray prior to the event.
