"Cleanest City" community cleanup coming NEXT Saturday�The City of Fort Walton Beach is happy to announce it is joining Keep Okaloosa Beautiful as a partner in support of the Greatest American Cleanup, and will be hosting another community cleanup from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026.�
Our January 24 cleanup will focus on the WE Combs/Sylvania Heights neighborhood (see attached map).
We’ll meet at 8 a.m. at the Okaloosa Academy Charter School, located at 720 Lovejoy Rd NW. From there, we will move out to pick up trash alongside both Hill Avenue and Lovejoy Road.
We’ll have some buckets, gloves, and trash pickers. If you have cleanup gear of your own, please bring it along with you. We hope to see you there!
