Clean Water Action Council's Annual Banquet will be held at Riverside Ballroom on Thursday, April 17.
Our annual banquet features a silent auction with a huge selection of art, collectables, and unique gift certificates. The auction begins at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM.
Dinner choices are gluten free, and mostly locally sourced and organically grown. Choose a roast beef or a vegan roasted portabella mushroom with Marsala sauce. Both include mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables, salad, gluten free dessert, and coffee. Tables can be reserved for parties of six-eight.
The program includes our Environmental Citizen Award and introduction of board members.
The featured entertainer will be Tom Neilson. Known Locally as the Bard Insurgent. His travels are reflected in his songs, intertwined with farm roots and a fervent commitment to social justice, as he writes about historical and current events. He has been at the forefront in helping communities organize against water privatization, mountain top removal, nuclear energy, incinerators, GMOs, fracking, & toxic waste.
