Join Dive Right in Scuba, Double Action Dive Charter, and the Waukegan Fire Department to clean things up. This is a FREE EVENT open to certified Open Water Scuba Divers and certification above. All participating Scuba Divers will need to bring their certification cards.
Dive Right in Scuba is offering PROJECT AWARE Dive Against Debris Specialty at a discounted price at $50.
We are welcoming all ages for land clean up as well!
Where: Waukegan Harbor and Marina - 55 S Harbor Pl, Waukegan, IL 60085
When: October 22nd from 9am - 12pm (check in at 8:30am for scuba divers)
Parking: Unlimited
Gear To Bring For Divers: hood, gloves, regulator set, BCD, weights, wetsuit (at least 5mm full suit or Dry suit), mesh bag for debris found, mask, fins, snorkel, anti-fog gel, at least one AL-80 tank, and an SMB with reel.
(Dive Flag, Dive Mat and SMB are highly suggested)
NO RENTALS WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO THE DIVE SITE.
Plan accordingly with Dive Right In Scuba Orland Park or Plainfield (or another facility of your choosing).
