Join Downtown Omaha, Inc. & Central High School for the annual Downtown Omaha Spring Clean-Up!The event is this Saturday, April 27th. The event will get started around 8:30 AM. It will go all morning, so still feel free to come by if you can't make it that early but are available later in the AM.
We will meet in the lunchroom at Central High School (124 N. 20th St. | Omaha, NE 68102). Volunteers are to enter through the northwest doors of the school, which are across from reserve parking spot #59. For parking, the closest parking lot would be the one near the football stadium (to get there, take Davenport Street off of 24th Street).
After we gather in the Central lunchroom, groups of volunteers will head out and pick-up trash between 10th and 24th Streets, and Cass to Jackson Streets.
Volunteers may bring their own supplies for picking up trash, but Keep Omaha Beautiful will provide trash bags, trash pickers, and gloves.
Food and drinks will be provided to volunteers before and after the event.
