City of Marysville residents* can bring these items for free disposal or recycling:
• Garbage (must be bagged)
• Yard waste (branches, grass and leaves - no dirt, sod or rocks)
• Scrap metal
• Tires (clean, no wheels, no dirt or rocks) – limit 4
• Batteries: automotive and marine
• Appliances: Washers, dryers, stoves & hot water tanks
• Electronics and e-waste
o Computers, laptops, cell phones, tablets, e-readers
o TVs and monitors (LCD, plasma, CRT)
o Printers, fax machines, scanners
o AV equipment: DVD, VCR, Blu-Ray, stereo, gaming console, camera
o UPS battery backups
o Remote controls
o Microwaves, small electric kitchen appliances
Do not bring:
• Refrigerators, freezers, AC units, water coolers
• Freon units
• Light bulbs including LED and incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and compact bulbs
• Hazardous waste, paint, fuels, oils and household chemicals
• Vacuums
• Prescription drugs
• Concrete

Bring your own shovel to load and take up to a half-yard of free compost. That’s about a wheelbarrow load or enough to top dress a small garden.
