There are better, cheaper, healthier alternatives to heat your home.Join us for an intimate community gathering and walk-through of a fully electric home. Along the way, you’ll learn about the home electrification process and experience the benefits for yourself! Clean Energy Homes: Alex Long Tour is an opportunity for Urbana/Champaign area residents to learn about issues with gas heating and how to plan for a future without gas.
We’ll discuss when it's the right time to make the switch, how you can save money, and move towards cleaner, more affordable options for home heating. It won't be too technical; we want to show how the environment, your finances, and your health can all benefit from getting gas out of your house.
This event is about picturing a future away from gas, making the move to electrified homes, what your future could look like, and the hurdles our communities will face during the transition.
Free and open to all. Food and beverages will be provided.
