General Laborer (Environmental Tech II) - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
General Laborers (Environmental Technicians) are the backbone of our company. You will be responsible for knowing the location and treatment of inbound waste streams. General Laborers/Environmental Technician II will be able to treat and process waste with on-site equipment. This includes pit mixing, drum pumping, drum dumping, and basic hi-lo and wheel loader skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials
- Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to wear company-provided personal protection equipment, including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (no beards, gentlemen).
- Have the ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency with Windows-based programs (i.e. Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations
- Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record.
- Able to work in a team environment or alone based on business needs
- Good attendance record and safe work history
- Able to operate end-loader or backhoe
Lab Pack Chemist
Our Lab Pack Chemists are responsible for completing the analysis of the waste stream samples per the SOPs and waste analysis plan, inventory control for lab reagents, maintenance of the samples/instruments, data entry, analytical equipment usage, and associated filing and administrative activities within the laboratory.
Basic Qualifications:
- Two-year degree in a science-related discipline
- Ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods while conducting lab tests
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to complete 40-hour OSHA training with 8-hour refresher courses
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years Bench experience in analytical chemistry
- Knowledge OSHA regulations
- 2+ years experience in the hazardous waste industry
Logistics Shipping Coordinator II
The Logistics Shipping Coordinator II tracks materials received at treatment plant in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local hazardous waste regulations and in accordance with our policies, practices and procedures.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related transportation/logistics or facility operations experience
- Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, EPA, and State Waste Regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree with 5+ years of transportation/logistics or facility operations experience
- Knowledge of waste routing and disposal of Hazardous Materials
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Willingness and ability to wear company-provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
Administrative Assistant
You will provide administrative support to all plant operations, including verifying the accuracy of inbound manifests and communication with all departments.
Basic Required Qualifications:
⦁ High school diploma or GED
⦁ 1+ years of experience providing administrative support
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
⦁ Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English
⦁ Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with accuracy
⦁ Attention to Detail – Demonstrates the ability to review or proofread work for accuracy; complete specific projects or assignments independently; concentrates on tasks at hand, even in distracting work environments.
