What: Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") Course*

When: December 6, 2024 9am - 3:30pm EST

Where: Eastway Regional Recreation Center, Charlotte NC


Description:Join CMN at our annual CLE event as we discuss representation of individuals detained by DHS, all levels of experience are welcome. Panelists include Matt Boles (Duke Law faculty) and Erin Argueta (with Amica Center). We will cover everything from Detained Rep 101, to 235/expedited removal and representation at NCFI Reviews. Now more than ever we must be prepared to advocate for individuals targeted by DHS for detention. Sessions will be moderated by CMN's Becca O'Neill and Tori Shepherd.


$250 admission for private attorneys, $75 for nonprofit attorneys and law students. Capacity is capped at 45 attendees due to space limitations - so claim your spot ASAP! Coffee, a light breakfast, and lunch are included in the admission price.
