Have some fun making clay models inspired by your favourite books. Take some creative relaxation time to learn how to make a small clay sculpture. As part of the Our Cultural Heart Festival, we will be exploring what draws us to the library, what makes it an interesting, inclusive and safe place to visit.The Clay Mill is known for projects where we work together to make clay in small, multiple components that come together to form one beautiful collaboration. Clay is a lovely tactile material, perfect for imaginative or simple ideas. It doesn't matter if you've never done it before, we will welcome beginners to the crafting table.
You will have chance to explore your own ideas in your own model and also help us make a sculpture for display at the new Library.
