Clay workshop: My favourite things at homeSaturday 6 September
11:00-12:30
Origins Centre
Littlies (between the ages of 4-8) and their caregivers are invited to a sensory clay and play session where we will be inspired by “My Favourite Things at Home.” Whether it’s a favourite teddy, a special pillow, a family pet or the best cup in the kitchen, children can shape their own special objects with their own hands.
This sensory workshop encourages our young participants to create without hesitation and will focus on the process of playing. These youngsters can explore freely and without limitations as we will not be firing their little objects. Here, clay is for play!
Through rolling, squishing, pinching and smoothing clay, our young participants will explore various textures, develop fine motor skills, and engage in imaginative storytelling. A playful, sensory-rich experience perfect for caregiver/parent and child bonding with unlimited creativity.
