Learn how to store in-progress ceramics for continued work.

Begin under glazing on bisqued pieces with Amaco velvet underglazes.
Learn techniques for thinning underglazes with water and spray bottles
Finish with a final glaze application to achieve a glossy finish, using clear glaze or celadon.
This is an intermediate level class
Instructor Bio:
Liz Dumas-McMullan is a Canadian transplant to the sunny climes of Corpus Christi, Texas. She grew up reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, so her bright fantastical clay creations are an extension of that sense of magic and unreality that she has always appreciated. From the mysterious depths of the ocean to the rocky terrain of the moon and the tiny microcosms of flora and fauna, Liz’s work reimagines some of the most secretive realms of the universe. She has won Best of Show at the Art Center of Corpus’ national Dimension’s exhibit twice, and exhibited two solo shows at the Art Center of Corpus Christi.
