CHRISTMAS is fast approaching!!Create a Centre piece to display at your Christmas Dinner setting.
In this workshop you will learn the art of handbuilding to create ONE (1) textured Christmas Tree.
Come and enjoy a mindful-hour and half to escape from the daily grind. This clay and sip class is the perfect way to enjoy a night of sculpting, pinch potting and sipping with us.
During this beginner-friendly workshop and art class, you’ll learn basic skills like hatching, sticking together and shaping forms and will sculpt using real clay. You will follow along with an artist instructing a demo at the front and receive one-on-one guidance and assistance as needed.
But it’s also all about having fun, so if you want to do your own thing and just embrace the experience of something new, you can do that too!
We will be using a creamy clay with a smooth texture. We will be imprinting features into the clay with patterned doilies, texture tools, buttons, (or bring something you’d like to imprint).
Your Christmas tree will then be bisque fired, glazed with a clear glaze available and fired again. It will be returned to Our Shop ready for you collect.
Beginner-friendly. No prior art skills needed, you can come to learn, have fun, connect, chat and sip!
