About this Event
Join your local artists for a fun evening of crafts, new friends, and drinks! Gather the friends, family, or fly solo for some crafts and laughs.
Love vegetables? Do small things get you excited? In this 2-hour workshop with miniaturist Kiana Simmons, you will learn some of the basics of creating miniature foods using polymer clay. Together we will mix clay to achieve realistic colours, shape the pieces and add details using clay & clay tools. You will make your own one-of-a-kind miniature box full of teeny tiny "holiday cookies" to take home.
All supplies will be provided, and you may even have some extra clay to take home!
A little about your host:
Kiana has been making miniatures since 2020, and has had their work displayed at the Ottawa Miniature Gallery, Owen Sound Artists Coop, Kitchener Public Library and Miniature Enthusiasts of Toronto Annual Show.
No experience necessary. Fun for all craftiness levels.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
