About this Event
A Two-Part Stoneware Serveware Experience
Inspired by the viral folded charcuterie boards all over your feed, this is a two-part clay experience where you’ll design and create your own sculptural stoneware serving board from scratch.
This class is beginner-friendly and process-focused — no prior clay experience needed.
🗓 Session One: Build
Wednesday, 2/12 | 6:30–8:00 PM
In this guided handbuilding session, you’ll create your folded board using slab-built stoneware clay. We’ll cover shaping, folding, refining edges, and building a piece that’s both functional and sculptural.
After this session, your board will be carefully dried and fired in our kiln.
🗓 Session Two: Glaze Workshop
Wednesday, 2/26 | 6:30–8:00 PM
You’ll return to glaze your piece during a dedicated workshop featuring a curated selection of specialty glazes chosen to highlight texture, movement, and folds. Think layered finishes, subtle speckles, and elevated surface effects.
After glazing, your board will be fired again to make it food-safe and ready for use.
🕰 Pickup Timeline
Your finished piece will be ready approximately 2–4 weeks after the glazing session. We’ll text you as soon as it’s ready for pickup.
📌 Important Details (Please Read)
