Main Gate Square Presents Clay Camero with support from Andrew Victor Live in Main Gate Plaza! Free Admission
Multi-instrumentalist folk musician Clay Camero has just relocated to Tucson from inland Maine, where she has been homesteading for the last 15 years. Her music is deeply inspired by the natural world, by the river flooding outside her door, by the Sonoran tarantula hiding in her shadow. Her colorful stories could only come from the heart of an underdog, forever walking the outskirts of the modern world like a feral coyote. She has released over 15 albums on her label Saxwand Records and other indie labels including Foxy Digitalis, Feeding Tube Records, Nightpeople, Bluesanct and more. She is fiercely powerful, prolific, and truly an unsung heroine of the underground indie music scene.
Andrew Victor has shared bills in the U.S. and Europe with Sharon Van Etten, Lael Neale, and Damien Jurado. His new album There Are Hummingbirds released 8/16/24. There Are Hummingbirds Top Albums of 2024 at Noise Magazine.
