Create a cheery hand-built clay birdhouse at our class on Friday, May 16 (5-7 pm). This birdhouse can be adapted for safe outdoor use by adding holes in the rooftop. You can also install a perch for the birds. Our instructor for this class is Cindy Hillier, a retired middle and elementary school art teacher of 25 years with the Tiffin City Schools. No experience is required as Cindy will share her clay hand-building expertise, guiding you step by step. The cost is $35 (non-refundable), which includes one kiln firing. If you want to paint your birdhouse with acrylics, there is no extra fee. However, glazing and a second firing are an additional $15; this added fee is payable during the class. Registration is required.
