The third programme of the At the World's Edge chamber music festival is Claviers, a special Queenstown festival programme exploring the evolution of the harpsichord and piano, continuing the Baroque composers' exploration of nature-inspired aesthetics. The journey culminates in a work by Ravel that profoundly impacted this yearโs Composer in Residence, John Psathas.Prior to the performance, please join us at 6:30pm as Festival Artist Erin Helyard introduces the Harpsichord. This will be a free, 30-minute presentation.
