Write your own story on the legendary ‘bergs and cobbles’ between Flanders and Roubaix in the challenging Flemish spring weather. Classics Story is a 1200 km Bikepacking Adventure on the legendary roads of the Northern Classics. Among many others you will tackle Nokereberg, Kemmelberg, Roubaix, Trouée d'Arenberg, Kwaremont, Mur and La Redoutte. We have included the Amstel as a final challenge.
Of course you will have to stomach a lot of Secteurs Pavés and steep Bergs from the Classics and won't miss out on the occasional gravel road, but nothing a racing bike cannot handle.
Which cyclist has those legendary roads not on his bucket list? Competing in this ultra will give you the chance to bikepack them all in the month Pro Cycling is around. The adventure starts with a Flanders High and finishes when the men have decided their Roubaix. During the ride you will see them scout the Hell, dismantle Flanders and build up towards the Ardennes Classics.
