Live at Timucua / Classical Series / Contemporary Classical Series: Formed in 2012, the Orlando based Hippocrene Saxophone Quartet is dedicated to performing new music for saxophone quartet as well as original transcriptions. They have performed at conferences at Arizona State University, Texas Tech University, at Central Florida music festivals and at universities throughout Florida. The music that we will be performing will be recorded on our next recording. The composers of the pieces include Krzysztof Penderecki, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Ludwig van Beethoven and Volodymyr Runchak.An unforgettable experience in the best living room concert hall in the world! The acoustics at Timucua allow the sound to bloom, and completely envelop you in a magical, transcendent sonic environment.
