Elle est de retour! Après trois ans hors de la province la pianiste sud coréenne Kunhwa Im déménage à Québec prête à performer à nouveau devant les gens qui l'ont adoptée.
Dr. Kunhwa Im est une diplomée de la prestigieuse Université National de Séoul où seulement les plus talentueux sont admis. Par son éducation intensive vous allez expérimenter un niveau de musicalité rarement vu parmi les pianistes. En tant que spécialiste de la technique Kunhwa sait comment utiliser son instrument afin d'en extraire les plus beaux sons. Tel une encyclopédie du piano elle est en position de comprendre les intentions des compositeurs lorsqu'ils ont créé leur chefs-d'œuvre ce qui fait d'elle une interprète incroyable.
Après que ses voyages l'ont amenée deux fois à Paris ainsi que dans de nombreux pays d'Europe pour parfaire son éducation elle s'est présentée à Québec pour compléter un doctorat financé par l'ambassade Sud Coréenne à l'Université Laval. Elle ne savait pas que cette belle ville deviendrait un jour sa résidence permanente.

She is back! After three years away South Korean pianist Kunhwa Im moved back to Quebec City ready to perform again in front of the people who adopted her.
Dr. Kunhwa Im is a graduate from the prestigious Seoul National University where only the most talented and hard working students are accepted. From her extensive education you'll experience a level of musicality that is rarely found among pianists. As a technique master Kunhwa knows how to use a piano in a way to extract the best sound from it. As a piano scholar she also understands what the composers intended when they composed their masterpieces which makes her an incredible piano interpreter.
After her travels took her to Paris twice and various other European countries she ended up in Quebec City to complete a fully funded doctorate degree by the South Korean embassy at Laval University. Little did she know that this beautiful city she fell in love with would end up being her permanent home.
Come celebrate her return with her at one of the most iconic locations of the old city The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity a two hundred years old historical site that has a unique acoustic.
