CLASSICAdaMercato | Le Moulin, l’étudiant et le Dromadaire
The duo composed by pianist Iacopo Rossi and baritone Francesco Bossi invites you on a fascinating journey into the chanson française, through the works of Maurice Ravel, Jacques Ibert and Francis Poulenc.
On the programme, two celebrated cycles dedicated to the figure of Don Quixote:
- Ravel's Don Quichotte à Dulcinée, with its elegant and dreamy lyricism.
- Ibert's Chansons de Don Quichotte, which mix sophistication and theatricality.
Rounding out the programme are two collections by Poulenc:
- Le Bestiaire, where irony and lightness are intertwined in the description of a small musical zoo.
- Chansons Gaillardes, spirited and bold, full of wit and vitality.
A chance to plunge into the most fascinating nuances of French mélodie!
As usual, the event will be convivial and welcoming, perfect for listening to great music in a relaxed way and in the company of a glass of wine.
Entrance is €7 with ARCI Membership Card, which can be purchased at the venue one hour before the concert.
