Classic Series: Investigating Iberia's Costas Verdes

Step into the verdant world of Spain and Portugal's coastal wine regions. Explore the region through beloved wines like Portugal's Vinho Verde, and the equally refreshing Spanish Txakoli.

We'll learn about these zesty and refreshing wines, how they're made, where they're made, and why they're so important. You'll be introduced to unique grapes like Alvariho & Arinto, Bical & Baga, and the mysterious Basque siblings, Hondarrabi Zuri & Hondarrabi Beltza.

We'll discuss and explore the regional cultures and distinct gastronomic identities, their differences and their shared commonalities. You'll be guided through traditional cheese pairings as well as a few of our own unique ideas around finding the perfect accompaniments or these truly unique wines.

Prepare for an evening of discovery, lively flavors, and a deeper connection to some of the world's most beloved wine treasures.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
