About this Event
Our story begins with a cheese named Comté. While being transported from France to Formaggio Kitchen, Comté became lost in the dark woods in front of a mountain. Being a wheel of cheese, he felt helpless. While he layed hopeless in the woods, three beasts (a lion, a leopard, and a she-wolf) attempted to try a taste of him. Luckily, Comté was rescued by Adam, our resident Medieval Roman poet. Adam decided that he should take Comté on a journey through Inferno to teach him how lucky he is to still be alive. During this epic trek Comté was introduced to nine other levels of cheeses.
Join our mongers as they explore the nine levels of cheese inferno from Cheddar to Blue and Pecorino to Époisses. Ever heard of Acarus siro mites? This specific type of flour mite can be found on Mimolette and they contribute to its delicious flavor. Adam and James will use their extensive knowledge of cheese and drink to create nine levels of cheese inferno. Their selections will put those with the even the strongest of palates to the test. This informational class will be so full of scary, stinky, and down right strange cheeses that you will be begging to read the Divine Comedy as soon as you return home from this delicious journey.
A cautionary warning to those who attend: Abandon all hope, ye who enter this class.
To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Doors will open at 5:10pm, and class will begin at 5:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
