Embark on a culinary adventure across France as we delve into the rich world of French cheese, wine, and accompaniments. This class is a comprehensive exploration of the iconic cheeses from France’s diverse cheese-making regions, each with its own unique flavors, textures, and traditions. Whether you're a cheese enthusiast or simply curious, this course will guide you through the history, production methods, and tasting profiles of France’s finest cheeses.
Specifically, we'll explore the distinct cheese-producing regions, from Normandy's creamy Camembert to Auvergne’s pungent blue cheeses. From Savoie's Tomme's cheeses to Jura's Comté. We’ll explore how climate, geography, and local traditions influence the flavor of each cheese.
You'll also learn about the different classifications of cheese (fresh, soft, pressed, blue, goat) and their characteristics.
As wonderful as France's cheese is, it would be a shame to focus solely on cheese when France has delectable wine and accompaniments. We'll also share additional items like French inspired saucisson, Raphaël's jams, and French wines, and many others.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 5:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
