Classic flick at Batemans Bay Library

Join us for our Thursday matinee screening of a Marily Monroe classic.

Nurse Nellie Forbush (Mitzi Gaynor) of the U.S. Navy falls for middle-aged French plantation owner Emile De Becque (Rossano Brazzi). When Nellie leaves him, the heartbroken Emile agrees to take on a dangerous espionage mission. In his absence, Nellie struggles to reconcile her prejudices with her love for him -- and after she spends time with his children and comes to care for them, fears that Emile may not return alive.

This is an epic musical in the best Hollywood style. Come along for our last Classic Flick of the year – this is a long film, so we will have a Christmas themed afternoon tea interval and finish up around 5pm.

• Your attendance at events supported by Eurobodalla Libraries may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. • Please do not book your child into an event if they do not meet this requirement.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

Cancellations

• Our events often book out. In consideration of others, please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend.

• Tickets can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of an event. Refunds for paid events will incur a small Eventbrite booking fee. To cancel, log into Eventbrite using the email you used to purchase your ticket.

• If you need to cancel within 48 hours and would like to discuss your situation with the Library Coordinator, please email: [email protected]

• Occasionally, Eurobodalla Libraries are required to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event you will be notified via email or telephone and the cost of your purchased ticket will be fully refunded. Events cancelled by Eurobodalla Libraries will not incur a cancellation fee.
