The 100th birthday of a landmark film whose influence has been saluted by Terry Gilliam, George Lucas and Brian DePalma and parodied by The Naked Gun and Woody Allen. It dramatizes a mutiny that occurred in 1905 when the crew of the Russian battleship Potemkin rebelled against their officers. It is presented in 5 short sequences and the 4th sequence, The Odessa Steps, is one of the most famous scenes in film history.
