Visit the picturesque full size railway with steam and diesel engines in the heart of the Kent countryside. This July Event day is a Classic Car special welcoming a wide variety of vehicles from eras gone by on display.Set in parkland and woodland, this is a beautiful location with a number of attractions including rides on the passenger steam trains from Warren Wood station through to Stony Shaw and back again. There's a huge model railway, museum, traction engine, tractor trailer rides, a visiting remote controlled lorry display, the UK's only 105ft aerial ladder American Fire Truck and a Dutch street organ among other exhibits. For the kids, a garden games area, colouring station and a treasure hunt to keep them busy all day.
Complete your day out with a visit to the Station Tea Room for a 'proper' coffee and excellent cake, or grab an ice-cream and set out your picnic blanket for a fantastic family day out.
