Join the leaders of the Kuntanawa people Prince Haru and Dr. Hayra Kuntanawa from the heart of the Amazon rainforest of Acre, Brazil for an immersive evening of storytelling and Indigenous plant knowledge. This gathering centers on lived stories that reflect a deep, relational understanding of plants, carried through generations of close relationship with the forest.
Rather than a formal circle or instructional format, this experience unfolds through spoken stories, reflections, and shared presence. Participants are invited to meet the plants through story and sensing—listening to how plants are understood within Kuntanawa culture as living relatives with their own presence, intelligence, and energy.
Through stories of ancestry, land, and daily life in the Amazon, the Kuntanawa share how connection with plants is cultivated through respect, attention, and relationship. This immersion offers space to slow down, listen, and feel into the subtle ways plants communicate and support balance within the living world.
This evening is open to all and designed to be accessible, grounded, and experiential. No prior knowledge is required—only a willingness to listen and connect.
All proceeds directly support the Kuntanawa people, cultural preservation, and reforestation efforts in the Amazon.
