About this Event
Class vs. Environmentalism
Panelists: Geoff Dembicki (The Petroleum Papers), Matthew T. Huber (Climate Change as Class War), Angele Alook (York University, School of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies) and [TBA]
The climate crisis hits hardest for working-class and marginalized communities, yet their voices are often missing from the conversation. This panel will explore the intersection of class and environmentalism, and how the working class might play a crucial role in pushing for a fair and sustainable future.
With growing inequality, political divides, and environmental collapse, this is a conversation about whether class solidarity can shape the fight for climate justice.
This event is free and open to the public.
