Learn to Turn – Beginner Woodturning on a Lathe! Saturday, September 28th, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Ready for a world-class woodturning experience? Jump into our woodshop and explore the world of turning wood into works of art on a lathe. The expert woodturners and instructors from Diamond State Woodturners will be working one-on-one with individual students.
Each student will have an assigned lathe and instructor! You will walk away from this class with a multitude of knowledge and several finished pieces that you can take home and enjoy for years to come, such as a wooden pen, honey dipper, and other household items. Bring your lunch and wear close-toed shoes; we’ll provide the rest! It’s time to learn from the masters.

✨How to set a lathe up for working with different stock woods.
✨The proper pressure, distance, and movement to sculpt your final projects.
