Join us for a fun and interactive evening of candle making and mixology, as Pottery Perfection partners with Affinity Rentals and Bartenders to bring you "Candlelight & Cocktails" on Thursday, October 2, from 6-8 pm. Learn the intriguing art of candle making and crafting delicious cocktails like a pro! Candle making is the newest artistic addition to Pottery Perfection. We offer a wide array of gorgeous fragrances and vessels for guests to create their own uniquely scented candles. Our partner for this event, Affinity Rentals and Bartenders, offers impeccable wedding and event services. From coordinators and party planners to balloon artists and bartenders, Affinity Rentals does it all! They also rent mobile bars, arches, decor, greenery, and so much more!The evening begins with a creative candle making demonstration by one of our expert candle chandlers. Guests will follow along and make their own scented candle, which will be poured into one of our pre-selected vessels. While the candles are curing, the mixology fun begins! Guided by an experienced bartender, this hands-on class covers essential techniques, flavor pairings, and creative garnishes. Whether a beginner or just looking to level up your home bartending skills, you'll leave with new recipes, confidence, and a few great drinks to enjoy along the way.
The two cocktails guests will craft are: The Smoked Revolver, which is a delicious drink that combines the bold, sophisticated flavors of bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters in a satisfyingly rich and complex way. A little bitter and somewhat earthy, with a spicy, citrusy zing to round it all off. Next is the Classic Caramel Apple Martini, which combines the smooth taste of caramel vodka with the crispness of apple cider and the buttery richness of butterscotch schnapps.
Cost is $50 (non-refundable) per person. This price includes both demonstrations and all supplies to create a 6-ounce candle and the two cocktails. If you would like to choose a different candle vessel than the one provided, you can upgrade and pay the difference at the class. Registration is required by September 30. Please note, you must be age 21 or over to participate in this class. Guests are welcome to bring snacks.
