Kahn & Neek
Kahn & Neek met in Bristol, UK, in the early 2000s. They began producing music together, initially creating grime and dubstep tracks. Their early work was influenced by Bristol's vibrant electronic music scene. Kahn and Neek are also know by their other alias of Gorgon Sound.
In 2012, Kahn & Neek founded Bandulu Records, a label that would become a platform for their own music and that of like-minded artists. The label's early releases showcased the duo's eclectic sound, which blended elements of grime, dubstep, and UK garage. Kahn & Neek's breakthrough came in 2012 with the release of their debut single, "Percy," on Punch Drunk Records. The track's success led to further releases on esteemed labels like Deep Medi Musik and Idle Hands. Throughout their career, Kahn & Neek have explored various styles, from the heavy, bass-driven sound of their early work to more experimental and atmospheric productions. Their music often features complex rhythms, intricate production techniques, and a blend of digital and organic elements.
Kahn & Neek have collaborated with notable artists such as Pinch, Mala, and Loefah. They have performed live at various festivals, including Glastonbury, Outlook, and Dimensions, and have toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Australia. Kahn & Neek continue to release music on their Bandulu Records label, as well as other respected imprints. They remain active in the electronic music scene, pushing the boundaries of their sound and exploring new creative avenues.
