*4vs4 and 6vs6 Coed Summer sand volleyball league on Tuesdays and Saturdays
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION:
*there is a fee of $35.00 per players or $140 per team for 4s and $210 for the 6s league.
Registration and payment are two separate transactions. You will need to complete both actions in order to save your spot.
***Registration and Payment will start june 9, 2024, and ends Jul 9, 2024, at 1200 hours.

League Setting and details:
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
-4 v 4 coed (1 female require) *max 3 males
-6 v 6 coed (2 female) *max 4 males
NUMBER TO START/FINISH MATCH
-4s Coed- 2 players minimum to start a game 1 female minimum to start game
-6s Coed- 3 players minimum to start a game 1 female minimum to start game
-*Less than 2 or 3 players at start will result in game forfeit
-* Forfeits: Each match is allotted 45 minutes to play 2 to 3 games. A team will forfeit their match if at least one player do not show up within 10 minutes of their scheduled playing time. If a team shows up within the allotted 10 minutes, that team will not receive extra time to play, and must complete the match in the remaining 30 minutes allocated match time. If the results are not determined by the end of the allotted time, final score is recorded as is and the match is over.
PICKING UP PLAYERS: Every player must be on a roster within the division of play. Teams are eligible to "pick up" players during regular season play. Teams must have a minimum of two (2) rostered players from the shorthanded team in order to be eligible to pick up players. No team can pick up players to be used as "subs" (player over the league format. i.e., in 4v4 volleyball a player from another team can’t be player 5 or above). No pickup player allowed during playoffs.
GAME Timeline: All subject to change based on the weather and such
-Saturdays league: First game will start at 1600, last game end on or about 2000
-Tuesdays league: First game will start at 1800, last game ends at or about 2200.
*Regular Season: Starting July 13-August 10 for the Saturday leagues and July 16-Aug 13 for Tuesdays league. Game length is two (2) games max or 45 minutes gap. Games will be played two (2) to twenty-one points (21) each set or scores to 45 minutes max played time.
*Playoffs: Week 6/championship games will be on Aug 17 for Saturday league and August 20 for the Tuesdays league. Best 2 of 3 game. The first two matches will be played to twenty-one points (21) and the third game is needed, it will be played to fifteen points (15).
*Make up days will be the next days same times. So for Saturday league, make up day is Sunday the next day, and Tuesdays make up day is Wednesday. Any concern talk to the referee or email us at [email protected]
*SCORING A set is won by the team which first scores 21 points with a minimum lead of two points. In the case of a 20-20 tie, play is continued until a two-point lead is achieved or first team to 25 (22-20; 23-21; ...). The scoring will be 21, 21, 21.
Rules Highlight:
-Coming under the net is legal as long as it doesn’t interfere with the play.
-let serves are allowed
-on 6v6 Division. It is a fault if a back-row player completes an attack hit from the front zone, if at the moment of the hit the ball is entirely higher than the top of the net.
- a blocker may touch the ball beyond the net, provided that he/she does not interfere with the opponents’ play before or during the latter’s attack hit.
After an attack hit, a player is permitted to pass his/her hand beyond the net, provided that the contact has been made within his/her own playing space.
- on a serve receive and a hard driven spiked ball. if the ball quickly touching two different parts of your body (i.e. forearm then face) is not a double if the player was not intending to touch it twice and it happened instantaneously.
-serving-Every player is required to serve. A consistent rotation order is required to be kept throughout the match.
-Referee makes the final call on all play
