Folkabilly trio Clare Byrne & The Big Green Lights share the stage with New York City singer-songwriter Rod Alonzo on Oct 4th at Best Video. The show starts at 7 PM and the cover is $10.Clare Byrne & The Big Green Lights first gathered in summer 2024, with Clare exploring her songwriting "deep cuts" with two amazing bluegrass musicians, guitarist Chris Wuerth and bassist Bob Boettger. Now with multi-dimensional Chris Merk on guitar, The Big Green Lights play Byrne folkabilly originals along with stirring covers of Bob Dylan's "Girl from the North Country," Ian Tyson's "Someday Soon," and other blues & traditional tunes.

Rod Alonzo is a New York City songwriter who's performed at The Living Room, CB's Gallery, Pete's Candy Store, Sine, and Luna Lounge. He's worked with amazing musicians such as Chris Brown, Teddy Kumpel, Tony Scherr, Anton Fier, Tony Mason, Rob Jost, Jeff Hill, and many others. In addition to performing, he loves writing songs for other artists.
