After nearly a decade of sell-out shows, Denise Hanlon is returning to Claire’s... with gusto.
With a voice that soars and wit that stings, Denise serves up her signature mix of powerhouse vocals, razor-sharp one-liners, and the kind of audience interaction you never quite see coming.
From ChillOut to Newcastle Pride, World Pride to the infamous Dikes on Mikes, Denise has been making stages her playground for years.With the fabulous Jeremy Brennan on piano, their shows sell out fast... and this one will be no different.
BIO: DENISE
Moving in some colourful circles around Sydney, she has shared the stage with talents such as Bob Downe, Libbi Gorr, Jean Kitson and Courtney Act. A talented singer, it just wouldn’t be Denise if her singing wasn’t interspersed with her colourful costume, quick one-liners and often involuntary audience participation.
She’s danced with Malcolm Turnbull, sung with Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and been drunk with Beccy Cole (who hasn’t?), but it is her one-woman shows which really allow Denise to display the full extent of her musical and comedic talent.
