Claim the Lane tracks the story of Roxy Bombardier, an Iraq veteran cyclist training for Vermont’s most grueling gravel race while risking her closest relationships to come out and transition at age 51. During a time when transgender storylines are rarely deeper than a politicized headline, Claim the Lane humanizes the universal choices and conflicts of seeking truth in ourselves and our relationships— struggles shared by everyone, regardless of identity.
